Review: Nonni's - Thinaddictives Almond Chocolate Chip Cookies

Nonni's Thinaddictives Almond Chocolate Chip Cookies are thin cookies baked with dark chocolate chips and almonds.

You can find a 4.44-oz box for about $3 at the supermarket but I received this courtesy of Nonni's.

These's are basically a hybrid between a chocolate chip cookie and a thin biscotti leaning more in favor of the biscotti. It has the lighter but crunchier texture of biscotti but isn't so hard as a regular biscotti. You also get the smooth crispiness of thin almond slices and the softer feel from the small chocolate chips.

The taste is an even combination of sweet dark chocolate and almonds with a lighter touch of brown sugar than is typical of a chocolate chip cookie and just an extra bit of almond flavor.

Overall, Nonni's Thinaddictives Almond Chocolate Chip Cookies are quite tasty. They're especially nice if you want some biscotti with a slight tilt of chocolate chip cookie quality or are looking for a portable, portion-controlled sweet snack.
