McDonald's Japan Brings Back Spicy Chicken McNuggets with New "Triple Spicy Sauce"

Spicy Chicken McNuggets make a return to the McDonald's Japan menu for a limited time this summer and are accompanied by two new spicy sauces: Triple Spicy Sauce and Spicy Garlic Chili Oil Sauce.

While Spicy Chicken McNuggets were only just introduced here in the US for a limited time last year, this marks the fifth time that they've been brought back in Japan. 

New Triple Spicy Sauce is so-named because it features the flavors of three peppers: red peppers, black peppers, and Sichuan peppercorns (with that distinctive tongue-numbing quality). The flavor is further accented by roasted garlic.

New Spicy Garlic Chili Oil Sauce features the savory quality of charred garlic and spicy heat of chili oil. The flavor is further enhanced with sesame seeds and onions.
