Originally introduced in 2004 as a Taco Bell exclusive drink, Baja Blast has occasionally been sold in stores in cans and bottles on a limited time basis since 2014. Since 2018, it's been brought back each summer.
As part of the 20th "Bajaversary" celebration, Mountain Dew is also running a promotion where Baja Blast and Baja Blast Zero containers (from stores or participating Taco Bell locations) can be scanned to collect coins that can be used to enter a sweepstakes or saved to redeem for a prize. You can find Mtn Dew Baja Blast and Mtn Dew Baja Blast Zero Sugar in stores now throughout 2024. Baja Blast can be found in 16-oz, 16.9-oz, 1-Liter, and 20-oz Bottles as well as 12-oz cans, while Baja Blast Zero Sugar version comes in 20-oz bottles and 12-oz cans. The soda is also available year-round from the soda/drink fountain at Taco Bell.
