Feature: Visting Taco Bell's Breakfast Test Restaurant

By far the nicest Taco Bell I've stepped foot in, the Taco Bell in Fountain Valley is one of Taco Bell's ongoing breakfast test restaurants. I stopped by recently one morning to try some stuff out. Keep an eye on this post over the next couple of days for reviews of the items I tried.

I have to say, I really like the warmer decor and color scheme of this particular Taco Bell location. I think this is the look they're going for with their newer and recently renovated stores. There are warm spotlight lamps instead of colder and sterile fluorescent lights. I definitely prefer the earth tones, stools, and clay-like tiles over the current purple, blue, and white at other Taco Bells. There were even cushions along the booths lining one of the walls.
It was a bit more warm and inviting, like somewhere you'd actually want to linger and enjoy your morning coffee while still remaining practical and durable with laminate tabletops and benches along with steel chairs.

Menu Items Reviewed:
Cinnabon Delights
Hash Browns
Sausage and Egg Burrito

  1. I remember back in 1994 early 1995 they had breakfast at Taco Bell. (in Northern California) I remember they used pace salsa, I only remember eating the breakfast burritos. Seems like now would be a great time to bring them back!

  2. I just wish more fast food places would offer breakfast all day. Jack in the Box gets old sometimes. Sonic's does a decent job too, but man things could be better heh.
