News: Baskin-Robbins - May 2013 Featured Flavor of the Month

Baskin-Robbins is tapping new Blueberry Shortbread Ice Cream as their flavor of the month for this May. The spring-themed ice cream features shortbread and blueberry-flavored ice cream with a lemon shortbread cookie swirl.

The new flavor is available in a cup, cone, or shake, as well as hand-packed in pints and quarts.

Along with the featured flavor, there's a whole berry theme this month with four more new, limited-time menu items: the Mixed Berry Waffle Cone, Blueberry Shortbread Milkshake, Berry Waffle Crunch 31° Below, and Coke Float.

The Mixed Berry Waffle Cone is a pinkish-red waffle cone with mixed-berry flavor.

The Blueberry Shortbread Milkshake is made with Blueberry Shortbread ice cream, milk, and simple syrup.

The Berry Waffle Crunch 31° Below features vanilla soft serve mixed with strawberry topping and Mixed Berry Waffle Cone pieces.

The Coke Float is your standard ice-cold Coca-Cola with a choice of vanilla ice cream or soft serve.

  1. well that was disappointing... very little in the way of any discernable flavors...not blueberry, not lemon, not buttery shortbread... just..blah..

  2. It certainly is NOT "blah". Definitely could've used a stronger blueberry flavor & maybe not especially "shortbread"-ish (I don't think), but then, the shortbread angle is secondary for me. The lemon flavor is delicious. Just needs more blueberry...& more blueberry...& more...well, you get the idea. Needs to be brought back &/or made a permanent flavor.
