My local Arby's offers them at $1.79 for an order.
The chips come in a good-sized waxed bag that amounts to the same as a small bag of packaged chips that you might find at a convenience store.
The potato chips deliver on a substantial crunch buoyed by the thickness of each chip. Additionally, for potato chips, they're not too greasy and have a really nice hit of potato flavor.
The seasoning is mostly tangy, but reminds me of more of a vinegar tang rather than a barbecue tang, which makes me think Vinegar and Salt Chips. There's just a hint of sweetness, but lacks the smokiness of barbecue sauce. Basically it's like Arby's Sauce without the finer nuances. I liked that these weren't too heavily salted, but I'm not a fan of vinegary chips. Still, the crunchy potato-iness of these chips made them pretty easy to eat.
Overall, Arby's House Made Chips make for some really nice kettle chips, but the seasoning was a bit of a curious choice. I would have preferred them plain and I think that would have been the safe bet, but I can see the draw in a more signature flavor.

Personally, I think these are the best BBQ chips I've ever had. The problem that I typically have with BBQ chips is that I can't taste the BBQ flavor AT ALL. The seasoning used on these chips ensure that each one has a powerful flavor. I do agree that it isn't a traditional BBQ, but neither is Arby's sauce and I like that, too. I also agree that it does have a vinegary taste to it, but it's not bad enough to keep me from loving them. If you can point me to some great BBQ chips, then I'm all ears.
