KFC Launches New Nashville Hot Chicken

Ahead of a nationwide roll-out, KFC launches new Nashville Hot Chicken in Pittsburgh, PA.

The chicken is available in both bone-in and tender varieties. It features a coating of sauce spiced with cayenne and paprika and comes topped with pickles.

The new dish is basically KFC's rendition of a style of fried chicken by the same name (also known as "hot chicken") that's popular in the South and is considered a local specialty of Nashville, TN.

You can check out a TV ad for the chicken airing in the Pittsburgh area below. It features a voice-over by Norm MacDonald playing the Colonel.
