Made from the ultra-filtered milk that Fairlife is known for, the new line is lactose-free and, according to fairlife, contains a third the calories, or half the fat, or both, of traditional ice cream (depending on the brand). Additionally, each serving has 8 to 9 grams of protein and 40 percent less sugar versus traditional ice cream.
The new line features seven flavors at launch:

- Cookies & Cream,
- Chocolate Peanut Butter
- Double Fudge Brownie
- Java Chip
- Mint Chip
Fairlife Light Ice Cream comes in 14-oz containers and carry a suggested price of $4.98 each. Stores you can find the new ice cream include Alberstons, Food City, Food Lion, Harris Teeter, Hy-Vee, Jewel-Osco, Raley's, Safeway, Save Mart, Vons, Walmart, and WinCo.
