Popeyes Tests New BBQ Bacon Cheddar Chicken Sandwich

Popeyes looks into adding more variety to their popular Chicken Sandwich with a test of the new BBQ Bacon Cheddar Chicken Sandwich at select locations in the Denver, Colorado area.

As you may have guessed from the very descriptive name, the BBQ Bacon Cheddar Chicken Sandwich takes the crispy-fried chicken breast filet, barrel-cured pickles, and buttered and toasted brioche bun of the original and pairs it with a combination of cheddar cheese, bacon, and sweet and smoky BBQ sauce.

With the addition of bacon and cheese, the new sandwich is priced at $5.49 (which is $1.50 more than the Classic and Spicy Chicken Sandwiches).
