McDonald's Updates Salads with Baby Kale; Brings Back Asian Salad

McDonald's has updated their salad mix to a blend of Romaine, green leaf lettuce, baby spinach, and baby kale. Conspicuously gone is iceberg lettuce.

Additionally, the company has brought back the Asian Salad with enough changes that they're calling it "new."

The salad blend applies to all McDonald's salads across the menu.

The Asian Salad now features the aforementioned mix of greens plus edamame, red bell peppers, snow peas, sliced almonds, and mandarin oranges, plus a choice of grilled or crispy chicken. Low-fat Sesame Ginger dressing comes on the side. It's priced at $4.99.

The previous version included iceberg lettuce, Romaine lettuce, spring greens, edamame, red pepper strips, carrots, sliced almonds, mandarin oranges, and snow peas.
