Review: Dunkin' Donuts - Pumpkin Cheesecake Square Donut

Dunkin' Donuts Pumpkin Cheesecake Square features a square donut filled with pumpkin cheesecake filling, topped with orange icing, crumbled graham crackers, and a drizzle of white icing.

These go for $1.49 each.

The filling captured the pumpkin cheesecake flavor well, hitting the right marks with the creamy tang of the cheesecake and the familiar sweet spice of pumpkin pie. According to the company, there's actually a good amount of cream cheese and pumpkin puree to it. My tongue concurs.

The frosting added your typical sweetness and appeared fairly thick in its application. The graham cracker crumbles delivered that honey graham flavor on their own but struggle to make themselves known over the layer of icing and the creme filling. On the plus side, they contributed a slight crunch to the donut. I couldn't help but think actual pieces of graham cracker pie crust would have worked out a little better.

Overall, Dunkin' Donuts Pumpkin Cheesecake Square Donut was pretty good and delivered on the pumpkin cheesecake flavor, but lacked just a little when it came to the graham crackers.
