Pumpkin Spice Salads are a Thing Now

Pumpkin Spice creeps into the more savory side of things this fall with Ready Pac Foods' release of a two new pumpkin spice salad bowl in supermarkets.

First, there's the new Pumpkin Spice Bistro Bowl is a single-serve salad that includes a harvest spring mix, roasted turkey, raisins, pepitas (pumpkin seeds), and dates along with a light pumpkin vinaigrette that features a hint of cloves, nutmeg, and cinnamon. In addition to climbing on the teeming pumpkin spice bandwagon, the salad is good for 330 calories, 11 grams of protein, and four grams of fiber.

The other salad, the Autumn Harvest Complete Salad Kit features spring mix and carrots topped with pepitas , diced dates, raisins, pumpkin-spice cornbread, and pumpkin vinaigrette.

You can find the Pumpkin Spice Bistro Bowl at over 3,000 grocery retailers, including Walmart and Wegmans, through mid-December for a suggested price of $3.99.

The Autumn Harvest Salad is available at Costco stores nationwide through the end of October with a suggested retail price of $3.99.
