Review: Cinnamon Sugar Chips Ahoy Thins Cookies

Nabisco's Cinnamon Sugar Chips Ahoy Thins sees the brand's signature chocolate chip cookie made into a thinner, crispier cinnamon sugar version interspersed with creamy white chips.

I bought a 7-oz package for $2.99.

Like the similarly branded Oreo Thins, you get less cookies by weight for the same price (a regular package of Chips Ahoy nets you about 10 to 13 ounces of cookies depending on the flavor).

These remind me of the thin mini cookies that Trader Joe's sells in plastic buckets. They're ideal if you prefer a crispy crackle rather than a more substantial hearty crunch. They also disintegrate in your mouth if you suck on them a bit.

The cookies have a very strong cinnamon flavor to them along with a moderate sweetness. If you like a dusting of cinnamon-sugar on these type of cookies, you won't find it here. The chips add a nice, creamy, melty sweetness.

I like cinnamon and sugar a good bit so these were very enjoyable to me. I prefer the thin crispiness over than their regular and chewy versions.
