Review: Denny's - Pumpkin Cream Pancakes

Denny's Pumpkin Cream Pancakes feature two pumpkin pancakes layered and topped with pumpkin cream.

It costs $5.99 for just the pancakes or $8.99 for the pancakes plus eggs, hash browns, and a choice or either two sausage links or two strips of bacon.

Like their new buttermilk pancakes, the pumpkin pancakes are thick and very fluffy. You get the same rich flavor but with a hint of pumpkin and spice. They were moist but one of them might have been undercooked though, as it was somewhat runny.

The pumpkin and spice come on more intensely in the pumpkin cream, which also added extra sweetness in place of syrup and a bit of an eggy quality (although that may have been the possibly undercooked pancake).

Still, despite a slightly flawed execution in my case, Denny's Pumpkin Cream Pancakes made for some pretty nice seasonal eats with a mellow pumpkin flavor and a moderate does of pumpkin pie spices (i.e. cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, etc.).
