The cereal is so-named because it's hot pink in color but will turn your milk blue. Flavor-wise, the limited-time, gluten-free crispy rice real is the same flavor as regular Fruity Pebbles.
According the company, the hot pink color is inspired by Dino, the pink dinosaur pet of the Flintstones. The cereal itself is named after the Flintstones' daughter, Pebbles.
