The breaded cheese patty is joined by a charbroiled third-pound Angus beef patty, lettuce, tomato, and Boom Boom sauce on a toasted buttery bun. Apparently, the BFC Angus Thickburger was "designed for the 'wow' factor of the cheese pull."

Hardee's (but not Carl's Jr.) also has a breakfast sandwich, the BFC Frisco Breakfast Sandwich, that pairs the BFC cheese patty with folded egg and applewood-smoked bacon on toasted sourdough.
