Domino's Bakes New Pizza Rice Bowls in Japan

Similar to how they offer pasta in bowls here in the US, Domino's has started to sell new baked bowls of butter rice covered with mozarella cheese and pizza toppings over in Japan. They're calling them, "Pizza Rice Bowls."

Domino's Pizza Rice Bowls are positioned as a fusion of pizza and Japanese rice bowls. They come in quite a few varieties including:

- Domino Deluxe Pizza Rice Bowl - Butter rice topped with tomato sauce, mozzarella cheese, onion, green peppers, pepperoni, Italian sausage, and mushrooms

- Garlic Master Pizza Rice Bowl - Butter rice topped with tomato sauce, mozzarella cheese, a double portion of garlic, pork sausage, pancetta, and black pepper.

- Charcoal Grilled Chiki-Teri Pizza Rice Bowl - Butter rice topped with tomato sauce, mozzarella cheese, teriyaki chicken, teriyaki sauce, spinach, corn, and mayo.

- Korean Galbi Pizza Rice Bowl - Butter rice topped with  mozzarella cheese, beef galbi (marinated short ribs), green peppers, and garlic.

- Chargrilled Beef Pizza Rice Bowl - Butter rice topped with mozzarella cheese, char-grilled beef, spinach, and mushroom.

- Seafood Special Pizza Rice Bowl - Butter rice topped with mozzarella cheese, white sauce, shrimp, octopus, mussels, littleneck clams, mactra clams, green peppers, cherry tomatoes, and parmesan cheese mix.

- 5 Cheese Pizza Rice Bowl - Butter rice topped with white sauce, Italian bocconcini cheese, Hokkaido camembert cheese, parmesan cheese, cheddar cheese, and gouda cheese.

Prices for the new Pizza Rice Bowls range from 799 to 999 yen (~$7.30 to $9.13 US) for carryout and to 1099 to 1299 yen (~$10.04 to $11.87 US) for delivery.
