Jack in the Box Upgrades Cluck Sandwich and Adds New BBQ Cluck Sandwiches

While it's only been out for less than a year, Jack in the Box upgrades their Cluck Sandwich with a new "bigger, crispier, juicier" chicken filet and marks the occasion by adding the new, limited-time BBQ Cluck Sandwich and BBQ Cluck Deluxe Sandwich to the menu.

While the nutritional info for the updated Cluck Sandwich is not currently listed on the Jack in the Box website, the info listed for the BBQ Cluck Sandwich means that it is 64 grams heavier and contains 9 more grams of protein than the previous Cluck Sandwich. The added weight can be attributed more chicken, possibly more breading, and more sauce, while the protein amounts to more chicken overall. Additionally, the Cluck Sandwich now comes with thick crinkle-cut pickles and more sauce.

The BBQ Cluck Sandwich includes a crispy-fried white meat chicken filet, thick crinkle-cut pickles, and BBQ sauce on a toasted brioche bun, while the BBQ Cluck Deluxe Sandwich takes the same chicken filet and serves it with bacon, panko-crusted onion rings, American cheese, and BBQ sauce on a toasted brioche bun.

Both the BBQ Cluck Sandwich and the original Cluck Sandwich are featured in a limited-time combo with small fries and a small fountain drink starting at $5.99 (prices vary with location; it's $6.99 in my area). A BBQ Cluck Deluxe Sandwich combo is also available (it's $8.99 in my area).

The new revamped chicken filet can also be found in the rest of Jack's premium chicken sandwich line-up.
