The new DunKings Munchkins Skewer is exactly what it sounds like: it's a plastic skewer that spears three assorted Munchkins donut holes. The skewer can be ordered as is for an on-the-go snack or added to any beverage (for aesthetic reasons?).
Other limited-time fast food items on the DunKing menu, include:
- The DunKing's Iced Coffee - An iced coffee with cream and vanilla flavor, topped with Sweet Cold Foam and cinnamon-sugar. They're billing the beverage as actor/director Ben Affleck's "first-ever official coffee order on the Dunkin' menu."
- Everything Encore Breakfast Sandwich - Sweet Black Pepper Seasoned Bacon, white cheddar cheese, and egg, served on an everything bagel.
- Hazelnut Heartthrob Iced Coffee - Hot or iced coffee mixed with caramel syrup, hazelnut flavor, and whole milk.
- Mixed Berry Beats Dunkin' Refresher - A Strawberry Dragonfruit Dunkin' Refresher with an extra shot of raspberry flavor.
If you're following along, the new menu items don't add any new ingredients to the menu. Instead, they either customize or offer a twist on current menu items.
The new menu follows a series of entertaining vignettes featuring Ben Affleck (a native Bostonian and Dunkin' fan) as he sets about to become a pop star. There's a whole story arc to the ad/marketing campaign and it culminates in the formation of a pop star group dubbed, "The DunKings." You can check out the various videos on the Dunkin' YouTube page.
The DunKings menu is available now at Dunkin' locations nationwide for a limited time.
Dunkin' is also selling official DunKings merch from the Dunkin' online shop for a limited time, while supplies last. The DunKings collection includes fuzzy hats, tracksuits, and 40-oz tumblers. It's currently sold out but they're planning to restock "asap."
