Taco Bell's Tajín menu includes three items: the Tajín Crunchy Taco, Tajín Twists, and the Tajín Strawberry Freeze.
The Tajín Crunchy Taco features seasoned beef, ranch sauce, lettuce, shredded cheddar cheese, and mango salsa nestled in a crunchy corn shell seasoned with Tajín. It costs $2.89. If it makes it out of testing to the national stage that means we'll be seeing manga salsa and a Tajín taco shell added to the menu.
Tajín Twists consists of crispy, puffed corn twists sprinkled with Tajín seasoning. They're priced at $1.29. Taco Bell's Twists are typically sprinkled with cinnamon and sugar but they've recently tried other seasonings, including Strawberry last year.
The Tajín Strawberry Freeze takes a Wild Strawberry Freeze and adds in mango pieces, Tajín fruity chamoy sauce, and a Tajín packet on the side. It seems to be Taco Bell's version of a mangonada or chamoyada. The new Freeze costs $3.59.
There's also a $6.99 Tajín Combo that includes all three items.
The limited-time test is in the early stages as it's only available at one location at 2222 Barranca Pkwy, Irvine, CA 92606, while supplies last. The location is near Taco Bell headquarters as well as UC Irvine.
