Review: Starbucks - Reduced-Fat Turkey Bacon & White Cheddar Classic Breakfast Sandwich

Starbucks' Reduced-Fat Turkey Bacon & White Cheddar Classic Breakfast Sandwich features reduced-fat turkey bacon, cage-free egg whites, and white Cheddar cheese on a multigrain English muffin.

I picked one up for $3.45.

The turkey bacon turned out really weird. It had the greasy flavor of pork rinds but was really thin and chewy rather than crispy. I didn't get any of the smoky flavor that I want from bacon.

The cheddar turned out well. It was melted, mild, and creamy. With subpar turkey bacon, it didn't have enough flavor to carry the sandwich.

The egg white was decent and fairly standard.

The English muffin was dry, chewy, and bland.

Overall, Starbucks' Reduced-Fat Turkey Bacon & White Cheddar Classic Breakfast Sandwich was just bad with disappointing turkey bacon. I regret eating it. If you're looking for "better-for-you" breakfast sandwiches at Starbucks, I'd go with the Spinach & Feta Wrap... or any other sandwich.
