Not to panic mini fans, you can still find them in the Hershey's Miniatures Assortment bags (which I remember picking clean of them as a child). Actually, if you want only mini Krackel bars, you can get them but you'd have to spare a pretty penny and buy them direct from Hershey's online store.
If you're never heard of Krackel, they're milk chocolate bars with crisped rice like a Nestle Crunch. Speaking of which, Krackel's promotion to full-sized bar status occurs in the same year as Nestle released new Butterfinger Peanut Butter Cups to compete with Hershey's own Reese's Peanut Butter Cups. Coincidence?
Krackel chocolate bars are available nationwide at various retailers with a suggested price of 99 cents for the standard bar, $1.69 for the XL bar, and $1.99 for the Giant bar.
