It was $6.25 for the sandwich. I ended up getting mine without any sauce.
The tri-tip was cut into good-sized pieces but I think thin slices or, at least, strips are the way to go for steak sandwiches. Otherwise, there's a good chance to pull out the steak as you bite into it unless you're careful. Still, the steak was pretty tender for being cooked well-done. There was decent charring from the grill and it was really juicy. There's a good beefy taste but it lacks seasoning. I think it's seasoned with the sauce (that I didn't get) in mind. The mayo doesn't really make up for it and I would probably go without mayo for this one.
The lettuce was crisp and the tomato was just ripe. Both were pretty fresh.
The roll was a soft with just a slight crust to it. It was good but I would prefer it were grilled or toasted (which you can probably request).
Overall, The Habit's Tri-Tip Sandwich was pretty solid for a great price. The quality really stood out for me. I recommend getting the sauce on the side or sprinkling some salt and pepper for the best effect.
