Review: Bojangles - Bo' Berry Biscuit

Bojangles' Bo' Berry Biscuit features a made-from-scratch sweet biscuit with blueberries, freshly baked and topped with icing.

I picked one up for $1.19.

The Bo’ Berry is just as buttery and flaky as Bojangles' normal biscuit but it differs with the inclusion of blueberry bits throughout. They’re the same kind you might find in store-bought muffins or bagels. They certainly packed the biscuit with a strong blueberry flavor, which was pleasantly sweet.

The icing was melted but not quite as runny as I expected. My biscuit was served to me warm so the icing was more gooey than crunchy, which was a nice contrast to the breadiness from the biscuit.

Overall the Bo' Berry Biscuit was a solid dessert choice and a great complement to my breakfast sandwich. I recommend grabbing one if you find yourself at a Bojangles'.
