Buffalo Wild Wings Adds Weck Sandwich to Celebrate Heritage

Heading into September and celebrating its 35th anniversary, Buffalo Wild Wings serves up a number of limited-time menu items including the new Thirty-Fifth Weck Sandwich, which is inspired by the chain's heritage.

The Weck sandwich is Buffalo Wild Wings' rendition of "beef on weck," a specialty of the Buffalo area in New York that was on the menu when the chain first opened as "Buffalo Wild Wings & Weck."

The Thirty-Fifth Weck features sliced sirloin, creamy au jus, and dill pickles on a kosher-salt and caraway-seeded bun with additional au jus for dipping.

Also available for a limited time are:

- BBQ Mango Mashup - A new sauce invented by an intern that combines Sweet BBQ, Honey BBQ, and Mango Habanero sauces. In terms of heat, it's somewhere between Hot and Mango Habanero.

- Blue Moon BBQ - Voted to return by fans, this sauce features the citrus and floral notes of Blue Moon beer combined with BBQ sauce.

- Fiesta Pork Tacos - Three tacos featuring citrus-marinated pulled pork, roasted corn, cheddar jack, and house-made pico de gallo on snack-size flour tortillas.

- Mac N' Cheese Bites - Deep-fried bites filled with elbow macaroni and bacon in Monterey Jack, New York cheddar, and American cheeses. House-made BBQ ranch is included for dipping.

- Cali Chicken Sandwich - A choice of grilled or crispy-fried chicken with house-made guacamole, hickory-smoked bacon, lettuce, and tomato on a brioche bun. It comes with a side of cilantro lime ranch dressing.

The limited-time items are available through October 29, 2017.
