Dunkin' Donuts Looking Into Going by Just "Dunkin'"

Dunkin' Donuts might be looking to ditch the "Donuts" in its name much like Starbucks did away with "Coffee" a while back.

According to the Pasadena Star News, the chain is set to open a location in Pasadena this month that will feature signage with just the "Dunkin'" name without the "Donuts."

While the name-change is currently exclusive to the new store, the more singular name better reflects the brand's sizable beverage sales and current positioning as a "to-go, coffee beverages brand."
