Review: Taco Bell - Beefy Potatorito

Taco Bell's Beefy Potatorito features seasoned beef, shredded cheddar cheese, nacho cheese sauce, crispy potatoes, and chipotle sauce wrapped up in a warm flour tortilla.

I paid $1 for one.

For regular Taco Bell-goers, the Beefy Potatorito will seem very familiar as it's made of some of the most common Taco Bell ingredients. There's a nice balance of classic beef, cheese, and potato and they go really well together.

My particular burrito had a near perfect ratio of nacho cheese to melted cheddar; delivering a bit of stretch without exhibiting too much goopiness.

The potato were largely bereft of any crispiness but were still good for a soft but solid quality. The seasoning on the batter went well with the beef.

The chipotle sauce was used sparingly and added a bit of creamy tang and just a touch of heat.

While not adding much newness in terms of flavor or form, Taco Bell's Beefy Potatorito still managed to offer a tasty combination on the cheap for the brand's stalwarts.
