Schlotzsky's Brings Back Regionally-Inspired Sandwiches for Summer

Schlotzsky's has returned their Route 66 menu with three regionally-themed sandwiches inspired by pit stops along the historic stretch of highway.

They've also added an oven-baked Hearty Grain Tortilla wrap option to the sandwiches for those that want a change from bread.

The three sandwiches on the menu are:

- Windy City Pastrami & Swiss - Sliced pastrami and melted Swiss cheese with Dijon mustard and signature dressing served on a Dark Rye bun or as a wrap.

- California Chick - Thinly sliced, roasted chicken breast, pepper jack cheese, bacon, guacamole, red onion, tomatoes, lettuce, and fat-free spicy ranch dressing served on a Jalapeño Cheese bun or as a wrap.

- Albuquerque Turkey - Smoked turkey breast and bacon strips with cheddar, mozzarella, and Parmesan cheeses layered with fire-roasted vegetables, chipotle mayonnaise, shredded lettuce, tomato and signature dressing served on a Jalapeño Cheese bun or as a wrap.

Schlotzsky's Route 66 menu is available through August 30, 2014.
