Lunar Cheesecake is a returning flavor that was first introduced in 1969 to commemorate the first spaceflight to the Moon. It features green and white cheesecake ice cream with cheesecake bits and a crunchy graham cracker ribbon.
In addition to the limited-time return of Lunar Cheesecake, Baskin-Robbins is also offering two space-themed sundaes, a new Triple Mocha Cappuccino Blast, and a special cake for a limited time.
The two limited-time sundaes are: the Lunar Lander which features Lunar Cheesecake ice cream topped with marshmallow, white cake pieces, graham crackers, caramel, whipped cream, and a cherry; and Agent 31 which comes with chocolate fudge ice cream topped with brownie pieces, hot fudge, chocolate sprinkles, whipped cream, and a cherry.
The Triple Mocha Cappuccino Blast blends Baskin-Robbin's cappuccino flavor base, milk, chocolate ice cream, chocolate syrup, and ice before finishing with whipped cream and a chocolate drizzle.
Finally, Baskin-Robbins is also offering the Pink Surprise Cake which has some significance in Men In Black 3 and features Oreo Cookies ‘n Cream ice cream sandwiched between two layers of devil’s food cake and decorated with pink frosting roses.
