Review: Ben & Jerry's - Coffee Heath Bar Crunch Ice Cream

Ben & Jerry's Coffee Heath Bar Crunch ice cream is fairly simple with pieces of Heath candy bars mixed into coffee ice cream.

I normally pick up a pint of Ben & Jerry's on sale between $2.50 to $3.50. It was really hot today, so I thought I'd enjoy some ice cream.

I'm a big fan of coffee and coffee ice cream, but I can't say I'm a huge fan of Ben & Jerry's coffee ice cream. It's a little too sweet and not enough coffee or cream for me.

I liked the milk chocolate toffee crunch of the Heath Bar pieces, but it didn't pair well with the coffee ice cream. Each time I bit into a Heath Bar piece, it went from too sweet to way too sweet. I think it would go better with vanilla or something similar.

In sum, I liked the Heath Bar pieces, but not so much the choice of ice cream pairing (or Ben & Jerry's coffee flavor in general). That being said, I think if you tend toward lighter, sweeter coffee, this might be your thing. But for me, I think this is my least favorite of all the Ben & Jerry's flavors that I've tried. I really wish someone hadn't polished off my pint of Late Night Snack.
