News: Sonic - 50 Cent Corn Dogs This Halloween!

This upcoming Wednesday, October 31st i.e. Halloween, Sonic will be offering 50 cent Corn Dogs all day at participating locations. 

Each corn dog is covered in sweet corn batter and fried to a crispy golden brown. They normally go for $1.19 at my nearest Sonic restaurant.

No costume is required for this promotion.

    Insatiable curiosity leads to my eyeballing various local firms to ascertain their business volume.


    The lack of vehicles in a firm's parking lot, especially during critical busy periods such as lunch or supper, often results in that business closing down within a few weeks to months.


    The several local Sonics often appear to be languid, deserted, flaccid-like.


    I will not be surprised if one or more are abandoned in the not-too-distant future.


    Then there are the two new guys in the area; two 5 Guys burgers opening in a few weeks.


    And I pine for the Red's Java House burgers on their San Francisco-style sourdough bun... located on the San Francisco Bay.


    Sigh..........


    The Ozark Plateau is a gustatory wasteland with nary any linguicia, lumpia or scaloni to be found.


    Well, in an area where Wal-Mart shopping is high society...........

    not even if they were free... the corndogs at my Sonic are soft and don't taste like anything.
