News: Pizza Hut - New Overstuffed Pizza

Pizza Hut's latest creation is the new Overstuffed Pizza. Resembling a round version of the chain's P'Zone (or two P'Zone laid side-by-side), the new pizza features a choice of two topping combinations layered with marinara sauce and cheese, sealed between two pizza crusts and finished with shredded parmesan and 7-blend Italian seasoning.

It basically sounds like a P'Zone but with the addition of marinara sauce inside.

The available topping choices are the Italian Meat Trio or Supremo.

The Italian Meat Trio comes with pepperoni, Italian sausage, and pork sausage.

The Supremo features Italian sausage, onions, bell peppers, and mushrooms.

Each pizza is cut into six "jumbo" slices and offered for $12.99.

  1. I'm so tired of pizza hut. Until they improve their ingredients, nothing they put out will be worth it

nasty...twice as much bread and half as much toppings. and too much Italian seasoning. can only choose from two types and can't even change anything. plus i had to wait like forever for this.

  3. This is not a "new" innovation by Pizza Hut. Here in the Buffalo, NY
area we've been enjoying stuffed pizza for over 25 years thanks to The
Pizza Plant, a locally owned and operated restaurant with 2 locations.

  4. Oh, no. I didn't mean to say that stuffed pizza is new. I'm pretty sure it's available here and there. S'barro offers it as well. It's just new for Pizza Hut.

  5. Years and years ago Pizza Hut had something very similar (either late 80s or very early 90s). I don't remember it lasting long.

  6. Or you could just buy two p'zones, which would actually cost less.

I don't think that a stuffed pizza is a bad idea, but to make it worthwhile Pizza Hut really needs to offer a full range of toppings and assemble and bake them to order, just as with any other pizza. That hardly seems too much to ask. This isn't a new pizza; it's just two p'zones stuck together... and coincidentally, it only comes in the same flavors as their p'zones. Hmmm...

Like I said, it was a promising idea... but the stuffed pizzas really should be as customizable as any other pizza on the Pizza Hut menu. It wouldn't be that hard to make them to order like the other pizzas. Don't just shove two already-existing p'zones together, call it a "new pizza", and charge $12.99 for it. Come on, Pizza Hut... that's just lazy.

  7. Pizza Hut had the "Priazza" or something similar in the 80's. It was fabulicious. But then again, that was when Pizza Hut had real pizza. Shame.

  8. theyre not pzones though, and they actually have diff ingredients than the pzones do ,
Also , " it wouldnt be that hard to make them to order"
Actually it is, our make times for an entire order need to be under 4 mins, no matter how many pizzas , the overstuffed pizza takes 8 minutes to make by itself.

  9. Tried it. CRAP! NEVER agian!
Less toppings than a regular pizza just twice as much dough.

Bring back the PRIAZZO and Pizza Hut will make millions! THAT was a "overstuffed" pizza!

  10. Tried it last night, The "overstuffed" was a bit of an overstatement, and it had almost no sauce.(If I didn't want sauce I would have ordered breadsticks)

  11. This will not sell in Chicago!
