That's right: Mountain Dew has been taste-testing a Doritos Nacho Cheese-flavored version of Mountain Dew soda on, at least, a few college campuses according to Time.
In a statement given to Time, A Mountain Dew spokesperson had this to say: "We are always testing out new flavors of Mountain Dew, and giving our fans a voice in helping decide on the next new product has always been important to us. We opened up the DEW flavor vault and gave students a chance to try this Doritos-inspired flavor as part of a small program at colleges and universities."
Apparently, the flavor tastes like "orange with a Doritos aftertaste," according to the Redditor that posted the picture. He also mentioned that they were also offering a few other flavors, including lemon ginger, mango habanero, and rainbow sherbet, but opined that none of them were very good.
Note: It's actually called "Dewitos," but I'll just leave "Dewritos" because it sounds better!
