Review: Pepperidge Farm - Chocolate Brownie Cookies

Pepperidge Farm Chocolate Brownie Cookies are soft-baked brownie cookies with dark chocolate chunks.

A 8.6-oz bag was $1.99 on sale.

These are part of Pepperidge Farm's Dessert Shop line of soft-baked cookies inspired by other baked desserts.

There's a notable dark chocolate aroma right out of the bag.

The cookies themselves are soft and a little crumbly, but also a bit gooey. They really do feel like hybrid cookie-brownies.

There's an enjoyably deep chocolaty flavor that's further enhanced by the occasional melty dark chocolate chunk.

Overall, I liked Pepperidge Farm Chocolate Brownie Cookie a lot better than the other flavors of the Dessert Shop line that I've tried (like Dark Chocolate Cheesecake). It offers a rich dark chocolate flavor and an interesting blend of cookie and brownie texture.
