Review: KFC - Pumpkin Cake

KFC's Pumpkin Cake is a pumpkin Bundt cake drizzled with cream cheese frosting and pumpkin-flavored sauce.

A 16-oz cake cost me $3.99 (it's also available as part of a Festive Feast).

The cake portion was super moist, fairly dense, and not too crumbly.

Taste-wise, there's a strong note of pumpkin and heavy spice to it. The pumpkin and spice complement each other well without one overpowering the other. The cake wasn't too sweet either.

The cream cheese frosting adds a sweet creaminess, while the pumpkin-flavored sauce contributes an extra layer of pumpkin. The frosting isn't applied excessive and, while sweet, fits well with the cake.

Overall, I enjoyed KFC's Pumpkin Cake very much, especially the tasty moist cake and sweet cream cheese. It's definitely worth a try if you can't get enough pumpkin stuff this fall/winter.
