KFC Philippines Opens Virtual Restaurant in Animal Crossing

Calling it "KFC Island," KFC Philippines created a virtual restaurant in popular video game, Animal Crossing: New Horizons that select lucky fans can visit.

The island comes complete with a player character dressed up as Colonel Sanders and a restaurant with custom KFC signage created in-game.

The virtual KFC restaurant opened on June 17, 2020 and will only be available through June 22, 2020. They're only letting other players visit during certain hours each day and give out a small number of Dodo (it's the airline in the game that lets players visit other players) codes to visit each day via social media.
