Review: Wendy's - Honey Butter Biscuit

Wendy's Honey Butter Biscuit features a buttermilk biscuit spread with maple honey butter.

It's one of the cheapest breakfast items the chain offers at $1.19 each.

Wendy's makes a pretty good biscuit. There's a crisp crust to it but it's still soft, moist, and airy inside.

Flavor-wise, the biscuit was moderately buttery and lightly salty. The buttery quality was further enhanced by the thoroughly melted maple honey butter, which also contributed a pleasantly sweet honey flavor with a hint of maple. However, I wish they offered the butter on the side for the added texture and richness of semi-solid butter. Still, there was a fairly even layer of butter on both halves of the biscuit.

Overall, Wendy's Honey Butter Biscuit makes for a nice breakfast option if you're looking for something a little lighter and more on the sweet side in the morning.
