Nestle Adds New Life Cuisine Line of Frozen Meals

Nestle adds new Life Cuisine to sit along side their Lean Cuisine and Stouffer's brands in the frozen food aisle. According to the company, the new line features "meal solutions that match your approach to eating well."

Life Cuisine covers four popular dietary preferences at launch: low-carb, high-protein, meatless, and gluten-free. Meals include:

- Meatlovers Cauliflower Pizza Bowl (low-carb) - With 13 grams of net carbs and 20 grams of protein, the bowl includes Italian sausage, chicken, beef ,and cauliflower florets layered with mozzarella cheese and tomato pizza sauce.

- Korean-Style BBQ Beef Bowl (high-protein) - With 21 grams of protein and 3 grams of fiber, the bowl features prime rib beef steak layered with a medley of shiitake mushrooms, edamame, peppers, egg, kale, and carrots, tossed in Korean-style BBQ sauce and garnished with sesame seeds.

- Vermont White Cheddar Mac & Broccoli Bowl (meatless) - With 20 grams of protein and 3 grams of fiber, the bowl consists of macaroni and broccoli in a Vermont white cheddar cheese sauce, topped with panko breadcrumbs.

- Pepperoni Cauliflower Crust Pizza (gluten-free) - With 18 grams of protein, a crispy cauliflower crust is topped with tomato sauce, mozzarella cheese, and pepperoni.

- Uncured Turkey Bacon & Aged White Cheddar Sous Vide Egg Bites (low-carb) - Sous vide egg bites with diced turkey bacon and aged white cheddar.

Nestle's Life Cuisine is currently rolling out and can be found at retailers nationwide.
