Panda Express Rolls Out Their Own Delivery Service

Citing increased demand, Panda Express launches their own delivery service a year ahead of plan and will be offering free delivery from June 18 through July 1, 2020 on orders over $10.

Previously, Panda Express offered delivery through third-party apps, including Uber Eats and Postmates, which charge a variable percentage service fee in addition to a delivery fee (which can range from free, if there's a promotion, up to around $10), plus whatever tip you end up leaving.

Looking at Panda Express delivery service, it looks like delivery is a flat charge of $4.99, there's no service fee but a tip of 15 percent is automatically added. For comparison, the nearest Pizza Hut charges a $5.25 delivery fee, a 5 percent service fee, and tip is left to your discretion.

In other news, Panda Express has started to bring back their full menu at locations across the country (you probably want to check with your local Panda Express as the return is likely staggered).
