Salt & Straw Releases Five Holiday Ice Cream Flavors

Salt & Straw's 2023 holiday ice cream flavors.
Salt & Straw welcomes their 2023 Holiday Series, a collection of festive ice cream flavors available for the holiday season. Also here for the holiday season is the new Dwanta's Holiday Ice Cream Cakes.

Salt & Straw's 2023 Holiday Series includes the following flavors:

Toasted White Chocolate & Peppermint Almonds - White chocolate chip ice cream with SkinnyDipped Almonds brand dark chocolate peppermint almonds.

Gingerbread Cookie Dough - Rum royal icing ice cream swirled with gingerbread molasses cookie butter and mixed with chopped gingerbread cookies.

Almond Brittle with Salted Ganache - Vanilla ice cream with almond brittle and chocolate ganache.

Dwanta's Teremana Spiked Eggnog - Custard ice cream spiked with Teremana’s Reposado and amontillado sherry, and spiced with nutmeg and dark agave. "Dwanta" refers to actor and former professional wrestler Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson's holiday alter ego.

Chocolate Sugar Cookie Dough (vegan) - Chocolate vegan ice cream with raspberry jam and chunks of sugar cookie dough.

The new Dwanta's Holiday Ice Cream Cakes are the ice cream chain's latest partnership with Dwayne Johnson and come in two varieties: Naughty and Nice.

The Naughty ice cream cake features coffee-spiked chocolate cake layered with dark-burned caramel chocolate fudge and whiskey caramel ice cream with chunks of sea salt-flecked peanut butter chocolate chip cookie dough, finished with crunchy, chocolate-peanut buttery puffs.

The Nice ice cream cake is inspired by Dwanta's favorite cheat meal (pancakes topped with coconut syrup, jam, bananas, and peanut butter) and consists of coconut cake layered with marionberry jam, Bananas Foster ice cream, chunks of peanut butter chocolate ganache, and a candied coconut streusel topping.

Each cake is meant to serve 20 people and costs $89.00. Pints of the Holiday Series go for $12.50 at my nearest Salt & Straw ice cream parlor.
