Review: Blaze Pizza - S'more Pie

Blaze Pizza's S'more Pie features melted milk chocolate and marshmallow sandwiched between two large rounds of McVitie's biscuits.

It cost $2 for one.

The milk chocolate and marshmallow are already pre-melted in an pretty uniform fashion before you order them. From what I saw from the stack they display, the chocolate and marshmallow ratio and distribution is more or less even.

To heat them up, they offer to warm the s'more by the oven. Mine could have used a little more time by the fire as it was just lukewarm.

Still, the S'more Pie turns out really well. The McVitie's biscuits makes a fine stand-in for the more standard graham cracker. They actually might be better than graham crackers as they're just slightly softer and thicker. The softness makes eating the S'more Pie a less messy experience, while the thickness maintains a more even proportion with the chocolate and marshmallows.

Both the chocolate and the marshmallow are just melted through (due to the pre-cooking) so you get a wonderful sweet and chocolate gooey-ness.

Overall, Blaze Pizza's S'more Pie was excellent and as good a rendition as I've seen. While you can easily make something similar at home, the price isn't too bad and they're very well made.
