Lay's Brings Back Four Potato Chip Flavors Inspired by Different US Regions

Lay's Flavor That Hits Home collection.
Lay's brings back four potato chip flavors inspired by different regions of the US for its new, limited-time Lay's Flavor That Hits Home collection.

The four regionally-inspired potato chip flavors and the regions they represent include:

  • Lay's Crispy Taco flavored chips - Inspired by the West Coast, the flavor offers hints of ground beef, sour cream, cheese, lettuce, and tomato.
  • Lay's BLT Sandwich flavored chips - Inspired by the Northeast and Atlantic regions ("East Coast inspired"), the flavor features the taste of smoky bacon and tomato.
  • Lay's Fried Pickles with Ranch flavored chips - Inspired by the South and Midwest (but labeled as "Midwest inspired"), this flavor includes notes of dill, fried batter, and ranch dressing.
  • Lay's Kettle Cooked Lime & Cracked Pepper flavored chips - A "hometown" inspired flavor that offers the citrus taste of lime with a kick of cracked pepper.

Unfortunately, only Lay's Kettle Cooked Lime & Cracked Pepper flavored chips can be found nationally, while the other three varieties are available regionally in the areas that inspired their flavor. If you don't live in those regions but are hoping to get one of those flavors, they're available for nationwide shipping from the Frito-Lay online store, while supplies last.

All four Lay's Flavor That Hits Home potato chip varieties are available now for a suggested price of $4.99 in 7.75- to 8-oz bags. Lay's Kettle Cooked Lime and Cracked Pepper flavored chips also come in a 2.5-oz bag for $2.69.
