Sonic's Blackout Slush Float features a black, cotton-candy-and-dragon fruit-flavored slush topped with vanilla soft serve and blue and purple galaxy-themed sprinkles. The black color of the slush is meant to represent the darkness of the solar eclipse.
Each purchase of the Blackout Slush Float will include a free pair of solar eclipse viewing glasses, while supplies last.
According to Sonic, there are 400 Sonic restaurants where the total solar eclipse will be visible so you can enjoy a Blackout Slush Float while catching the event. You can check the NASA website to find out which cities are included in the path of the eclipse.
The Blackout Slush Float will be available at participating locations nationwide from March 24 through May 5, 2024, while supplies last.
