Today, Dunkin Donuts unveiled their new Bagel Twists. It's a cross between the twist donut and a bagel. The shape is purported to make the bagel easier to eat when you're on-the-go.
Their exact words were: "The new Bagel Twists feature Dunkin' Donuts' famous bagels, twisted into a more portable, easy-to-eat shape, perfect for busy people on-the-go seeking a delicious snack to keep them running throughout their day." I can't say I've ever had trouble eating a bagel while walking though but maybe I'm just talented.
The new Bagel Twists are available in a variety of sweet or savory flavors including: Cheddar Cheese, Cinnamon Raisin, JalapeƱo Cheddar, Sour Cream and Onion, Pretzel Salt, Blueberry, and French Toast. The suggest retail price for a Bagel Twist is $1.39. Between you and me, I would prefer a soft pretzel twist over a denser bagel but I guess that might cost more seeing how soft pretzels at the mall are at least $1.99.
I got the cheddar cheese today and it's pretty good. The cheese baked on top comes out with a little crunch to it.
ReplyDelete@Anon: That sounds tasty! I wish there was a Dunkin' on the West Coast. Was it pretty fresh?
ReplyDelete@Q: It was. I asked about other varieties and I guess Cheese and Cinn Raisin are the regular ones offered by me (in the northeast). They also had Blueberry out with some icing drizzled on top so I think that's next on my list to try.
