Unfortunately for you Pizza Hut fans, the perfume cannot be bought. Instead, you'll have to take to Twitter for your chance to win a bottle by tweeting @PizzaHut with the hashtag #LastMinuteLovers with your plea for some last minute Valentine's assistance from The Hut.
The promotion runs through Wednesday, February 13, 2013 and winners will receive a .5-ounce bottle of Eau de Pizza Hut as well as a $20 Pizza Hut gift card. The prize packages will be mailed to arrive on Valentine's Day (unfortunately, the offer is only open to the 48 contiguous states and D.C. so those of you in Hawaii and Alaska are left out).
Pizza Hut is giving away an average of one prize package per hour.
The smell of the cologne is described as "a slightly sweet base scent of freshly rising dough, but finishes decidedly savory with hints of Italian spice like oregano, vine-ripened tomato sauce, the crispness of fresh-sliced vegetables and all wrapped by wafts of cheesy goodness," by a representative of the NY-based custom perfumery that developed the scent.
Pizza Hut is also running a similar promotion over in Australia, except on Facebook instead of Twitter. The prize package over there includes the cologne, a box of chocolates, a $10 gift card, and a single red rose. The details are available here.
The cologne is being given away in similar promotions in over ten global markets in time for Valentine's Day.
