News: Sonic - Half-Off Jumbo Popcorn Chicken on February 28

Sonic will be running a half-price promotion all day tomorrow, Thursday, February 28, 2013, on their regular or Spicy Jumbo Popcorn Chicken.

Sonic's Jumbo Popcorn Chicken are made of battered and deep-fried chunks of white meat chicken. Sauces available for dipping include Buttermilk Ranch, Honey Mustard, and Hickory BBQ, as well as new Smoked Chipotle and Berry Jalapeno.

A large order normally sells for about $4.39.

    That promo pic makes the chicken look awfully burnt and not at all appetizing...

    I decided to try out a large order of the Spicy Jumbo Popcorn Chicken (along with the chipotle dipping sauce, since I guess I was in a really spicy mood), and they were just okay. If they were $2 all of the time I'd probably get them again, but for $4 they seem a bit overpriced (especially when I think KFC still has the best popcorn chicken).
