Around the World: Burger King Japan Offers Turkey Legs for Holidays

KFC rules the roost for Christmas in Japan but it looks like Burger King is trying to horn in on the action with the introduction of smoked turkey legs this year.

The "King's Turkey" legs are each about 21 cm each (~8.27 inches) and smoked with a blend of oak and beech chips.

Since Christmas is more of a feasting occasion, the turkey legs aren't sold individually but only in "King's Turkey Party Sets," which come in two varieties ranging from 2300 yen to 2600 yen in price (~$22.70 US to ~$26.66 US)

They're taking reservations now but the smoked turkey legs won't be available until December 8th.
