McDonald's Adds Clementine Option to Happy Meals

McDonald's adds whole Cuties California Clementines as a seasonal side option to their Happy Meals. The kid-sized, easy-to-peel citrus fruit are offers along with apples and Strawberry Go-Gurt as possible Happy Meal side choices.

The new side option is available through March 2015 coinciding with the end of the fruit's peak season.

In case you don't want a Happy Meal, Cuties can also be ordered a la carte. They come as a whole fruit so you'll have to peel them yourself.

The company is also testing "junior" bananas as a possible Happy Meal side option for next year (if they do well).
