The new menu item includes a burrito with your choice of fillings topped with a Smother (...), shredded cheese, sour cream, pico de gallo, and lettuce by default (you can have them build it however you like though).
There are three Smothers in all. They are:
- Tangy Verde - "Mild-to-medium Smother is fresh and bright with a tangy kick."
- Bold Red Chile - "Medium Smother has a robust toasted chile flavor with a hint of sweetness."
- Smoky Chipotle Cream "The hottest Smother is rich, creamy, spicy and smoky."
The new Smothered Burritos are included in Qdoba's all-inclusive, single price structure, which is nice if you like to load up on everything and not-so-nice if you're more of a minimalist.
