Applebee's Debuts New Summery Wood Fired Grill Salads Including Grilled Watermelon Salad

Applebee's follows up the launch of their Wood Fired Grill menu with new Wood Fire Grill salads, including the new Grilled Watermelon and Spicy Shrimp Salad.

Featuring ingredients prepared on new American-made wood-fired grills, the salads can be found starting at $8.99 at participating locations.

The new Wood Fire Grill Salad options include:

- Southwestern Steak Salad - Hand-cut, wood-grilled USDA Choice top sirloin steak, chimichurri, pico de gallo, corn and black bean salsa, cheddar, tortilla strips, and a creamy house-made cilantro ranch dressing.

- Grilled Watermelon and Spicy Shrimp Salad - Grilled watermelon, and spicy grilled shrimp over mixed greens, cucumbers, feta, and almonds with house-made creamy mint-Greek yogurt dressing. Also available with spicy blackened chicken.

- Spicy Blackened Grilled Chicken, Avocado and Grapefruit Salad - Spicy blackened grilled chicken, avocado, and grapefruit over mixed greens, pickled in-house red onions, and cilantro withhouse-made champagne vinaigrette.

- Crispy Chicken 'N Spicy Cornbread Salad - crispy-fried boneless chicken over mixed greens, house-made jalapeno cornbread croutons, grape tomatoes, shredded cheddar, and applewood-smoked bacon with buttermilk ranch dressing.
